MyProxy goes (kinda) Pro!

Hi Folks,

I have started a Google Code page for MyProxy, this way you will be able to always track and check-out the latest source code from there.
The project address is http://code.google.com/p/mynewproxy/.
Very soon I will also start accepting collaborations to the code, directly on the source tree (hey K-Werk, stay tuned).
v2.20 has been frozen now as the initial version from which we will start doing version control.
I hope this will help keep everyone updated, and also allow people to contribute with code to MyProxy.

For now I am still learning how to use Google Code, so expect a bumpy ride.

In the meantime I suggest using TortoiseSVN to check out the source code. The URL for the check-out is on the source page on Google Code.
I have added all the necessary DLLs to the download, so you don't have to download the entire LibOpenMetaverse to compile MyProxy. Just install C# 2008, check-out the code and open the solution file.

Hope it works for everyone.

Cheers,
The Borg.

Version 2.20 is out.

Hi Folks,

You can find version 2.20 here.

The only changes to this version are on the log window, which is now editable and the commands are timestamped.
Hey Paul ... hope you enjoy it.

Hello K-Werk, I am still trying to find a decent solution to share code snippets, in the meantime, you can either post your changes here or send me the .cs file via 4shared.com or something like that.
I can do a "diff" between your code and mine, in case and want to implement something into the main code set.

Hope you all have lots of fun with MyProxy.

Cheers,
The Borg.

Is it just me or...

...is MyProxy also working for you?

Hi folks, I would like to know who else is using MyProxy without any issues.
Please share your experience with us, let us know what options you have tried and with what degree of success.
Also, an idea of your connection speed, type of computer, anything you think would be related to your success, would help other achieve the same.
I, for example, use Verizon FIOS, 20Mb down, 5Mb up, on a Dell Inspiron Core 2 Duo 1.6GHz laptop with 3GB memory, graphics set all the way down and bandwidth set all the way up.

Please share.

Cheers,
The Borg.

New version ... v2.19

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

Please download v2.19 from here.
No new features from v2.18; I have just added some more locking control code to the dictionaries handling, which in normal people language means that I made it less likely to crash.
I have tested this version thoroughly and it seems to be working fine, but please report here any issues you may find.

Hope you have lots of fun with it.

Cheers,
The Borg.
